Video Project - Favorite Memory

I was the referee in this video (kind of dumb). I felt like I looked like an Idiot. This was a memory of the senior vs junior basketball game 2012 RCHS. Although seniors lost in this video we showed how the game should have gone. It went well, I think we did a good job.

Capstone Experiance

My capstone experience was okay. My presentation was alright, except that I got interrupted 70 times (exaggerating)! It affected me because I didn't know what I covered and what I didn't. Overall, I am happy it is over, and I'm ready to move on.

Video Project

For my video project, I made a PowerPoint. In my PowerPoint, I put in the importance of my project. I decided to make a PowerPoint instead of any of the other ideas, because I felt it was the best way to get my point across.

Presentation to Class

My theme is Alternative Fuels. Alternative Fuels are needed to replace gasoline so they can decrease cost and better sustain the environment. This will help decreasing CO2 emissions and lower cost for the alternative.

Thinking Ahead - Presentation

Another piece of my presentation on Alternative Fuels is going to be a 3D model of a Hydrogen Generator. I will use Google sketch-up to create this model, which will give people an idea to develop on. Something else that I could bring in to help make my idea stand out would be a demonstration. This would help promote my idea because it would make it more realistic and doable. After I have every bodies attention I will make my presentation short and catchy so that everyone listen and doesn't stray away from it.

I could incorporate some of these ideas in my presentation. I could use my hydrogen generator as a demonstration model. I could also use my YouTube PSA Video and make it into a Sketch-Up. Lastly, I could make up an interactive game or activity to test what knowledge my listeners have gained from my presentation. What I learned from the TED talk on my subject was that they were mainly focusing on the subject and not on the presentation method, so I will go a different way and focus on presentation technique along with my subject.

Creation of Poster Design - First Draft

I thought a lot about how my poster should be, and I finally decided I would make a picture collage poster. I put in plenty of pictures on different element of alternative fuels. These include benefits, types, etc. I also added a quote to get the overall meaning of the poster! I found all my pictures on Google Images, I put them together in Adobe Photoshop, and then created the quote myself.
